Honestly, I would leave ZERO star in this review if I could. My husband and I rented a 2019 Chevy Malibu from this company through Turo. The car was average, all things considered. Personally, I have a 2020 Malibu with just as many miles as this Malibu had, but you can tell the Malibu from HM Vacations has not been kept up. The engine sounds incredibly rough when accelerating as if it had not been serviced in quite some time. The dash kept showing that service was needed each time we started the vehicle. Absolute extortion artists. First we get their car and the car was in awful condition. The windshield wipers didn’t work and the engine sounded like it was about to explode. Fine, we can forgive that because we rarely had to drive so we were fine despite the car being ready to die. The real problem is the attitude and personalities of the staff. We used them through Turo. My wife left an expensive cup in the car. They didn’t really respond much for almost 2 weeks before finally calling us. When they did? They tried to extort... read more
