Sauce was not "on the side" (as stated in menu) for calzone. Was poured right on top and directly over the cut. Which is because they know they rely on the sauce to carry flavor. Crust on it's own tasted more like an unleavened matza cracker. NOT lovely salty comfort food bread. They must also count on the sauce to maintain heat as I had bites that were not hot (temperature wise) enough for me. Wasn't " bad" just...disappointing.

Great pizza but a bit a pricey, especially the toppings. $2.75 feels steep for a vegetable topping on a medium pizza.

HiWay has become our go to pizza place in State College. I ate there alone a few days ago and experienced the same friendly service and great food that I have come to expect. But......the music soundtrack that was blasting was one of those stations where no-name bands play covers of big hits from the past. With so much great streaming available why would they subject their customers to such a travesty ? If I am going to listen to U2 I want U2 to be the performer. Not some crappy knock off. I call this "disingenuous music"
