I have used this service a couple of times, with about 20 years in between! I drove a minivan from Montreal to Vancouver back in 1993. I drove a Cargo van from Vancouver to Mississauga in 2023. Good experience both times. I hope to drive another vehicle, maybe an RV, again soon as I like long road trips

To date, I have completed four long distance trips for David at HitTheRoad. (Toronto - Vancouver, Vancouver - Ottawa, Vancouver - Montreal and Toronto - Vancouver) What a great way to see our beautiful country and it never gets old! David provides clear expectations and instructions along with all of the required paperwork. I’m looking forward to my next HitTheRoad trip in the very near future.

This is a poorly run company (I use the term loosely). David is patronizing and rude. When you contact David as a potential driver, he responds ONLY to the first inquiry where he tries to sell you on the “job”. He doesn’t stop talking about how busy he is and how he is doing so many business meetings. When you ask for any specifics like when the car is available to depart he never gives a straight answer and speaks in generalities. Great way to travel in North America. I have completed one cross Canada trip and another trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Edmonton. Both were wonderful experiences, hassle free (even the border crossing), taking me to places I had never seen before. Cant wait for the next opportunity.....

So far, I’ve completed one delivery for Hittheroad, and it was an excellent experience. David provided clear instructions and set accurate expectations from the start. Everything went exactly as described, which made for a smooth and stress-free drive to Florida. I transported a Canadian car for a couple, met them at the airport, and then flew back home. I’m definitely looking forward to taking on more adventures with Hittheroad in the future.
