Friendly staff and definitely old school bbq. Not a fan of the food, though. Pulled pork was bland and had an uninteresting uniform stringy texture. Ribs had little meat on them. Hash might be considered good by a South Carolinian, but not from this Texan. Both the sweet red and mustard sauces were good but were both missing the edginess or maybe spiciness I was hoping for.
Great barbecue
The establishment's barbecue offerings appear to be disproportionately praised within the local community. Furthermore, it is recommended that the posted operating hours be updated to accurately reflect that the business closes at 6 PM.
Been getting bbq from here for years. This past weekend I went Friday evening and got pulled pork, ribs, and hash. By Saturday noon me and the wife were terrible sick. Pretty sure is was the bbq pork from sitting out. Probably won't be going back. Just didn't seem like the food was fresh and I never want to go through that stomach issue again.
