I had an issue with my pump and had another plumbing company come in to have a look. I was told it was my well and Hitchons was recommended to me. I called and explained what was going on and the lovely man who answered said he could have someone at my house that day. We had been without water for 3 weeks at this point. The service was good but wasn’t happy with paying for the mileage for the worker to travel and from my house. That’s what a service call fee is for.. I think this is wrong to charge this fee on top of the $105 just to come out to the house. I understand fuel service charges but to make me pay two separate fees to have your employee drive to my place and back to your shop is ridiculous! I’ve never had mileage added to my bill before.
