I am so incredibly disappointed to say that my excitement over our experience with Hitch RV has forever been changed. I am appalled with how the after sale customer service was handled. We were bounced around for months trying to secure the items we were promised that were damaged during our walk through. These items were promised and signed off on by the service manager, Whisky. Used their pop up website ad to "bid" on a trailer. Received a scathing email about my unrealistic bid. Nothing but a bunch of internet scum at the level of used car salesmen.
In spring of 2018 we purchased a pull behind camper from Hitch RV for approximately $30,000.00. As part of this purchase we paid for an extended warranty. In late December2019 18 months after purchased we noticed that the master bedroom ceiling was leaking. Walls, carpet, cabinets and mattress were wet. Called Hitch RV immediately. Hitch RV made appointment for us to deliver camper 2 weeks later in January 2019. Delivered as agreed. Ongoing nightmare with this unscrupulous company. They had my unit in for service for over 4 months. They were unorganized and didn't do things they should have done, like order parts, for months. When things were delayed they blamed the manufacturer. The manufacturer confirmed that it was not their delays causing the issues. When I finally did pick up the unit, they had repeatedly defecated in my toilet (unit had been winterized prior to dropping off) and my battery was stolen. VERY DISAPPOINTED! We had our heart set on an RV, ready to pay in full- cash, confirmed with the sales person Lonnie in the Delaware location that we would be driving 3 HOURS from NJ to look at the trailer and put a deposit down and guess what...IT WAS SOLD weeks ago. Why do you have an RV listed for sale on your website and it was sold weeks ago?! Bait and switch... Thanks HitchRV for the wonderful experience!
