I waited two years before actually going over to Hitch King (the only place I considered) re: installing a hitch on a Lexus NX SUV. The reddit forums are full of stories of failed attempts at adding a hitch to these cars (hands-free lift gate continuing to work being the primary concern). A miserable experience at a Bronx UHaul brought me to Hitch King. I call it fate, from Adam on the phone to my installer Luis and his associate, the whole process was terrific.
