They cut my internet line while building next door, and they knew they did it as they stood around the marked site with flags. Why waste your time marking the spot with flags and spray paint to tear it up anyway? Historymaker then back filled the hole so my internet company is pointing figures on the repair. We purchased a brand new HistoryMaker home in September 2025. Less than 9 months later we discovered our HVAC condensation line was improperly installed at original construction — the drain line was tilted toward the coil instead of the pipe, causing condensation to leak from our attic through our second floor bathroom and into our first floor ceiling. This review is for the warranty department. I have submitted a few requests that apparently aren't emergencies - ok, I understand. But when the after hours male staff chuckles at my work schedule and my availability, the situation becomes unacceptable. I believe consumers should be happy with ANY service and that providers SHOULD make themselves available to service at 100% satisfaction - even if it means hiring an alternate company who "is" available after 4pm. If you’re thinking about buying from History Maker Homes, reconsider and walk away fast. My home has serious drainage and erosion concerns, and the builder has done everything possible to avoid addressing them. They have a pattern of denying legitimate warranty claims, even when the problems are tied to construction and not homeowner actions. I bought a HistoryMaker home three years ago, and it’s been a great experience. The house has held up extremely well with no issues, which really speaks to the quality. The craftsmanship still stands out, and everything from the finishes to the structure has aged really well. We brought both of our children home to this house after they were born. It’s been a special place for our family to grow into and create lasting memories. I would definitely recommend HistoryMaker Homes to anyone looking for a quality, dependable home.
