If you're not part of the 1 hr tour, offered only at 12p, there is no information offered about the history of the mansion. A self guided pamphlet or a QR code would be appreciated. Still have no idea about the Fishburn family. It is solely dedicated to being essentially a senior citizen rec center. It seems pointless to have public hours. Considering how prominently it's listed on the parks and rec site, it's somewhat dilapidated on the outside.
My maiden name was Fishburn, so I was excited knowing I could visit the mansion of a relative with such high status as Junius Fishburn. However we chose to visit on a Saturday and it was closed. As we walked around, I was astonished and saddened to see the immense disrepair of the exterior of the old home. Will it ever be repaired to the grandeur it once was??
Love going for the Christmas tour
Went for an anniversary party and absolutely loved it. Snuck upstairs to look at all of the antique stuff and the woodwork. Such a beautiful place
