Truckee has a great outdoor shopping environment with plenty of shops and restaurants
Always fun to come out for "Truckee Thursdays"... Street Faire in Historic Downtown Truckee. LIVE Music, Food Court, featuring everything from tacos, to Sushi, (Cloud Sushi), and the famous "Lobstah" Rolls, from "Buoy and Trap Seafood". And a "Beer Garden", where the LIVE music is, and plenty of room for Dancing.
I only saw rhis place from the windows of a train going through but it is very charming and picturesque!
