It’s not like it was 20 years ago. To bad to see it go downhill.
I enjoy going to Long Grove, but extremely disappointed in the Apple Fest. Attended Sunday, but not a single Apple Pie or Apple Donut. Many stores and restaurants closed or closed before fest ending hour. And not happy having to pay $7 for this lack of Apple offerings. Was more a Vendor Both Fest.
Unfortunately, the shuttle and parking situation at Long Grove Apple Fest was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. We parked at a senior living complex where we were asked to provide a $5 donation to the Lions Club of Long Grove. After paying, we were then told that the shuttle DOES NOT stop at that parking lot. If the shuttle isn’t going to service that location, why are festival attendees being directed to park there and asked for money?
