I paid over $200+ for a roadworthy check on my 2004 BMW and the report came back with only a short list of issues, but not for the right reasons. The shop missed multiple obvious faults that my main mechanic identified immediately. If I had relied on that check, VicRoads would have likely denied my registration, costing me even more. This ended up being a huge waste of money thanks to an unprofessional and careless inspection.
Needed a roadworthy check done, was recommended to go here from family members that have had good experiences. Spoke to two different people that worked there - both were lovely with great customer service. Took my car back in as I thought it was warranty works. I was advised it wasnt. Which is ok. They gave me a quote to fix $1,945.00. I advised them I would like another opinion from another mechanic. Thats when the guy started hurling abuse at me. Leaving very upset. Thankfully I got a 2nd mechanic to look & fix my car and the bill was only $495.00.
