I have a number of Hirsh file cabinets. Many for over a decade. They just keep ticking and opening and closing perfectly. On rare occasion one of the latches might snap. I emailed Hirsh and within hours they responded and are sending me new latches free of charge! Their support and service is amazing and I greatly appreciate the easy process to get a simple part replaced. Also full disclosure the latch that broke was to our 'most used' drawer. I ordered a steel shelving unit and it arrived with 5 short apron pieces missing. Contacted Herschel and they said they don’t carry these parts and could not help me. Told me to go through Lowes and have them order a new unit. Impossible to get this 200lb. unit back in the box! Lowes and I both contacted Herschel again and same reply. They sell this unit but you better hope all the parts are there because they won’t stand behind their product.

I would like to share how Hirsch Industries promptly and efficiently responded to my unusual request. We purchased a home with older Hirsh shelving units, which were missing some parts (probably discontinued), so I contacted them through their website. Within a few days, they shipped these parts to us free of any charges; I am very satisfied with their customer service and highly recommend them. Thank you, again.
