I took a chainsaw in for repair. They told me that it needed a \$75 carb. The saw was only 2 years old and I havnt use it much. So I took it somewhere else, actually it only needed a \$7 gas line to fix the problem and runs just fine, Farm and Home may have higher prices but they were honest! The service department in the store, I dont recall his name but he has worked at Yamaha and John Deere, he has an attitude, not very helpful at all.
Always good service here! I bought a new mower from them and the transaction was smooth and hassle-free. They even delivered it out of town for no charge. I didnt expect that and it saved me a ton of driving and trouble. I also get my hunting supplies from them. Their prices are competitive, and again, the guys and gals are customer service oriented and pretty knowledgable. Ill be back and Id recommend the store to anyone.

Of all the small engine and tractor supply companies around this area Hirsch Feed in West Plains has by far the biggest seletion, very competitive prices and customer service that stands alone. I highly recommend Hirsch Feeds Parts Department for superior customer service and top notch prices.
I was hoping to get an E-visual of the West Plains store inventory for some tractor supplies, but NO...this site slopes and dips to sink holes everywhere but what you want! I probably could get a CA taco or an AL BBQ easier than what I was seeking, and I live in their neighborhood. What a waste of time.
I bought my halter, lead rope, bridle and reins from Hirsch, and they are excellent. The halter is still in great condition, and the bridle and reins are great. Ive had these for nearly a year, and never had a minutes trouble with any of it. I would most certainly buy from this store again.
