i ordered a small cake for my boyfriend’s birthday to finally have a chance to try this place out, and i can say this is one of the best cakes i’ve ever had. not too sweet/overbearing and definitely one to savor as you take each bite. i got lucky with the quick turnaround (called on friday for a sunday pickup), but the owner recommends to give at least a week’s notice for future cake orders. can’t wait to come here again sometime and get cake for my friends and loved ones to try!
My visit to Hiroki Bakery was lovely. It’s a cozy spot in Seattle with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I tried their green tea tiramisu, and it was excellent — not too sweet, with a smooth, balanced matcha flavor that really stands out. I found this café while searching on Google for a bakery that serves matcha cake. Unfortunately, they didn’t have matcha cake when I arrived, so I ordered a Hojicha cake, along with a 16oz hot latte with whole milk and a large hot chocolate with almond milk instead.
