We came here about mid day, and when I say no one was here, I mean, really, we were the only ones here. We don't live by a Hires, so when we were down south, we thought we would try this location. The food here was good, just like the downtown location. The service was fine for us being the only ones in the restaurant. I can't imagine the service being similar to the downtown location because this location is not even 1/8 as busy as the downtown location. Update came here last week to eat left because couldn’t afford it. It’s sad when a place wants as much for their hamburger & fries as a steak dinner elsewhere. If you can afford it enjoy, they’re good. We went home had homemade instead for a third of the price. The Best Hires in town overall food & service wise. Their Big H, Garlic Toast, Fries, Fry Sauce & Root Beer are all delicious. Your tastebuds will thank you. Quite pricey but unbeatable flavor plus good to support local Mom & pop chain.
Food is good but the service here sucks and has sucked for years. Sat at our table for 15 minutes and no one greeted us or took our order. There were only two other tables occupied in the dining room. I had to go to the front counter to get someone’s attention just to be able to order. If you’re going to charge so much for food you might want to do something about the service. $21 for a burger and onion rings? Love how I order and you charge me extra but I don’t actually get it.. you get $&@“ through the drive through.. isn’t that what they say
