As a military wife, I am so thankful that there are organizations like Hire Our Heroes, who support our military men and women as they transition into the civilian world. I grew up as a military brat, my dad was in the Air Force and my husband was in the Navy. It was a real challenge for both my dad and husband as they transitioned into the civilian world. It was difficult looking for a trusted source of income and a new career. My husband used a transition organization through the Armed Forces to help him find a new career.... read more
