The first review of Mr. Hintz certainly was not the case with my experience working with him. Unfortunately most reviews published are negative ones, and likely only reflect the opinion or experience of one client rather than everyone. I know when I selected Mr. Hintz as my accountant, having chemistry to work with someone I could trust and rely upon was important, as was competency. Unimpressed – Probably ok if you show up to have a simple tax return processed. Not good at all if you are dealing with greater complexity. He is devoid of creative ideas, does not want to be any sort of a thought partner, and to make matters worse, he is so devoid of personality it is intimidating to even talk to him. There are certain lawful things I later learned he could have suggested which would have saved me thousands of dollars. He either doesn't know about them or doesn't care enough to mention them.
