I just want to post a short note to thank Ross and his lovely vet nurses for the kind and caring compassion Birdie and I received on Saturday. You made time for us at very short notice and I appreciated your honesty at a very difficult time. I couldn’t recommend Hinterland Veterinary Services any more. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Unfortunately, my cat required emergency surgery after developing a urinary blockage. The veterinary team answered my questions thoroughly, but I found that I had to ask a lot of questions to fully understand what was happening. I was very upfront from the beginning that the cost of treatment would be a significant financial burden for me. While I understand emergency care is expensive, I wasn’t advised of any alternative payment options or financial assistance, which would have been helpful to discuss. We are incredibly grateful to Dr Rachel and the team for the kindness and compassion they showed as we said goodbye to our Ally cat. A few days later we received a card and keepsakes from the amazing staff at Hinterland Vet which simply meant the world to me.
