Hugely unhappy with Hino. Especially AL the General manager! Corporate muscle used when it suits. Hino values are "care for all" and "win together" but not in our case. We had 2 trucks with our name on them. ready for new builds. Hino salesman asked to sell 1 as they where waiting in stock, second one find out Dec 23 is sold also. Hino say they communicated this, I can't find any evidence of comms to give permission for this, have asked for evidence of emails which they say they have but no cigar so far. Brand New HINO 500 series truck worth more than 250K has a problem with the braking. The steering and brake pedal shakes/ vibrates on braking and this has been happening since I bought the truck in June 2023. I have only driven around 3K kms locally in Auckland and took it for remedy under warranty. I was told that they would need to keep the truck for more than a day and skim / machine the drum.
