Our power was on the entire time! I did watch the ‘map’ and was very impressed by how quickly crews got power back on! We are lucky!
I would like to thank every lighting plant employee for their hard work and dedication. Keeping the power on in horrendous conditions requires not only a well-trained staff but also the pre-planning by keeping branches trimmed throughout the year. Another important plus is the ability to reach a live person by phone during bad weather situations. Thank you for your efficiency.
Most responsive utility I've ever encountered. When the power goes out (it rarely does) there is a human on the other end of the phone day or night, and they are ON IT. On another occasion we had a recurring brown-out issue: they came out immediately and resolved it in one visit, free of charge.
The team came over as our meter was not working. The disconnected it and found that it was overheating. They recommended some work to be done by our electrician who was able to fix it right away. Great service. Nice people. Thank you.
Great service, better rates, and a model for town owned utility. Every town around us with privately owned utilities is dark today and schools are cancelled due to power outage, but Hingham is up and running. Thanks for all the great work, it is appreciated.
