If I could go 0 stars I would. They do not return calls, the hospital faxed in authorization as requested but nothing has been done. Our insurance says the treatment should be covered but Hines does not act promptly. Junk company.
My interaction with Hines on several occasions has been top notch.
This company is the consulting company for our insurance. Our son has had three surgeries and is preparing for his fourth. We traveled out of state and upon arrival found that the authorization is STILL under review. He has this same procedure done on the opposite extremity and we’ve had this procedure scheduled since May. There is NO REASON for this delay. This is disgusting the way these insurance companies and consultants treat PEOPLE. They do not care about people.
