Cabins are great, however despite the website and confirmation email both say checkout is at 10:30am but at 10:01 the manager was at our door being very rude saying checkout was 10am and that he was working on updating the website and emails, well how about you not be so rude when you know people think the checkout time is 10:30 since it's all over your website?!

We absolutely LOVED this place and even extended our stay for another night. The location is great - it’s nestled in a beautiful spot and just a short drive to town and Acadia national park. The rooms were recently renovated and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can tell they put thought into their accommodations, as everything we thought we might need was provided (keurig, mini fridge, microwave, paper towels, toaster). I’m so happy we found this place. It is down to earth, affordable. The beds were comfortable. The small kitchen for our little cabin had an induction stove. It was was so much fun to finally try one of those. We loved our stay there.

Located 8 miles from in town Bar Harbor, Hinckley cottages provide woodsy camp living with updated amenities. I only stayed one night, but I appreciated the updated features in the cabin, like the heating system and comfortable furniture. What I didn't like was a driveway that was full of ruts because it was in the woods.
