I had root canal three months ago, the fillings were dropped off. I called them, the receptionist made an appointment and didn’t say any changes for this visit. I came they made me to take another xray for the same teeth, and told me the fillings are temporary that I need to find another doctor to fix it. The doctor didn’t tell me the fillings were temporary before he treated my teeth. And they charged again. The receptionist’s attitude was horrible and rudeness. Shady about quoting.
Dr Hiltz is fantastic. The only concern was 3d xray. I was initially told, I won't be charged for the xray as I was not quoted for the 3D. After finishing the root canal, the staff at the counter said, there will be bill sent if I don't want to pay right now. Eventually I paid all the money including the 3D xray!
I felt good about the appointment from the introduction. Dr. Hiltz shook my hand and referred to himself as Jim. Hiltz Endodontics was not in my Dental Insurance Network. If I stayed in my network, my copay would be less than to go with Dr. Hiltz. The additional money it cost me to go with Dr. Hiltz was the best money I could have spent on my health. Dr Hilz performed by microsurgery procedure on me and I can't say enough about his skills and his wonderful staff. They are kind, professional, compassionate, reassuring, and thorough. I encountered no discomfort during my procedure, and minimal discomfort afterwards. The post-op instructions were clearly and comprehensive. . I felt confident that I was on good hands. I would highly recommend Dr Hilz and his team.
