I stayed in Room 480 at Hilton Garden Inn Detroit/Utica from April 9–10, 2026, and this experience was absolutely unacceptable from start to finish. Shortly after checking out, I developed multiple clustered welts and bite marks consistent with bed bug exposure, and I reported the issue while I was still on property. Stayed at the Hilton garden inn San Antonio on April 11th. The whole experience was horrible. There were kids running around throughout every level, I had random kids and adults knocking on my door, my bathroom flooded when I turned on the shower. 🤦🏻‍♀️ When I asked for towels they said they didn’t have any. My vehicle got broken into along with several others! Over $800 in damage and got told I would receive $50 in a refund for the two rooms I booked and nothing yet! I am currently an employee working for the Homewood Suites in Mount Laurel, NJ. I've worked for Hilton for almost 10 years and have stayed at Hilton's just as long, if not longer. This has to be the worst property I've either worked or chose to stay at. We are SEVERELY under-staffed in EVERY DEPARTMENT, and we can't seem to keep employees longer than a month.
