Their terrible workmanship in so many parts of my house is so appalling. For example, my exterior door was improperly installed before I took possession of my house, causing significant cold wind to come into the house from outside. For something as simple as this (you’d think), the builder came to attempt to repair but failed at even the repair.
In my experience with this builder, cutting their costs is more important than fixing things (that were broken because of the builder) correctly and ultimately customer satisfaction.
From the moment we stepped into our house on possession day, it all went downhill.
We took possession of our house on June 10. At walkthrough, there were several items that were incomplete or requiring repair (yes, this was supposedly a brand new house, but repairs were needed before we even moved in). As just one example, the shower in the en-suite bathroom had a large crack in it; Hilton sent someone to patch the large crack on July 4. Oct 2025 edit: another crack in foundation, so another 5-10k out of my pocket for Hiltons workmanship. If I would have known now what I knew then before choosing a builder 🤦♂️. Edit to my review below. Contrary to the response nobody from Hilton ever came to house to look at issues nevermind fix them. It has all been out of our own pocket. We now are now on year 6 of the house and in the last 6month we had roof tiles blow off, window that lost it's seal and has water inside. And now we found a foundation leak in basment. H... read more
