Please do not visit this hospital for any reason! I had the worst experience ever in my life at this ER. This hospital suffers from a very high turn over rate and the experience level of medical staff is hit or miss. Upon checking into the ER the wonderful ladies working registration and triage were amazing. They were the ONLY positive experience I encountered while here. While on our family vacation we unfortunately had to go to the emergency room with my nephew. Everyone at the hospital was amazing. They took my nephew right in and did what they needed to do. The staff was so caring and helpful. We ended up having to transfer him to Savannah because he needed to be in a pediatric unit. They were professional and amazing from start to finish!
I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. Hands down the worst experience in a hospital in my life. I went in for a terrible infection. I asked for IV because my mom is an RN and recommended that. They refused to do it ‘the first time’ that I just needed a shot. I OF COURSE had to come back a week later, shaking throwing up and with the infection even worse than before. Finally because my mom drove 4 hours to make sure I was ok they listened and gave me the IV. I’m terrified on IVs, I told them, repetitively!!!!! Then this ‘nurse’ if ... read more
My mom had to go to the emergency room twice in August and once in October. We received excellent care from Dr. Mendenhall on two occasions, as well as from Dr. Cargill. The rest of the treatment team—Ally, Clayton, Brooklyn, Tiffany, Linda, Emilio and Jared—were all exceptionally kind, attentive, and compassionate in caring for her.
