Very friendly and professional staff. Conveniently located downtown and close to UC Davis. Also close to the train which can be a plus or minus.
One of the worst HGI experiences. They advertise “Experience your Stay” for a premium charge and the only option to use the credit is on overpriced convenience store items. The credit cannot be used at the restaurant. When asked about this, Olivia Ochoa at the front desk had an attitude like I have never seen before. Be aware of the trains honking nearby. Only twice a night, that sounds ok, but since 6am they came by frequently
I am being generous giving a 2 star rating. This has to be the saddest Hilton, I've ever experienced. You pay a third party app to park at the Hilton. The parking space is limited. I get better accommodation from Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn than at this Hilton.
We booked our 2 night trip well in advance as we had a medical procedure planned at UC Davis. As we came into the area we noticed this location was quite a ways away from UC Davis. We immediately called to confirm. The lady we spoke with actually at the Hilton Davis Downtown with the British tone went WAY BEYOND!!!... Not only was she pleasant and professional, she assisted us with canceling our reservation at her location, she assisted us with making a new reservation 3 miles from where we needed to be.
