We stayed at this hotel on a Friday and Saturday night because we were attending a wedding in the area. The hotel was VERY CLEAN!! Staff were very nice and helpful - especially Derek who was at the front desk for most of our stay. Lobby was bright and well decorated. Rooms were spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable.
Several small issues... hotel seems to be older an not well maintained. Front doors make a lot of noise opening. Elevators make a lot of noice and are jerky right before they open the doors at your floor. Cable was very spotty and staff said they were working on it. Two days later still an issue. Staff was not always readily available at the front desk. Overall place was clean and the rooms were ok.
Hilton used to be real banner of quality, now it is not. Someone’s hair in room, expensive breakfast to order and what’s more they charged me parking even we didn’t use parking at all as we didn’t have a car. That's new Hilton.
The room is dirty, they pretend to clean it, hair is everywhere, the breakfast is paid and very expensive like in a very expensive restaurant, in the room even two small bottles of cheap water also cost money. I want to mention a hidden charge - I was charged for parking even though I didn’t have a car. The question is what was I charged for, no one even asked me whether I needed it or not. The fact is that they charged me, I do not recommend staying at this hotel at all.
* Absolute worst! * Huge safety issues * Gave room away after checking in * Problems getting a refund and no real help. Had to leave since they could NOT help us and drove four hours back home at 7 pm after a long day in Annapolis. Travel to Annapolis a few times a month. Hilton Honors member. Booked Hilton Garden Inn three weeks in advance on Hilton app and got all the usual emails and confirmation number for a room with two queen beds. Checked in and picked my room day before my arrival.
