I went in Hilo Medical Center ER due to multiple vomiting during the night before. Dr. Dunphy diagnosed the problem, and Dr. Pierce and the FMS team provided the excellent treatment while I was hospitalized (I was out of the hospital in 32 hours). I am grateful to them and the many RNs and aids: Shan and Maraie, Dana and Ava, Kelly and Jesus, and Giana, and many other kind and professional staffs at ER, Lab, CT Scan, X-Ray whose names I can't recall.
Came in on a Monday afternoon with pain and bloating, they got me back immediately. Did XRays, Cat Skan and physical tests and questions, got my medical Records and got me into emergency surgery right away. I stayed overnight with the option of staying another day. They sent in pt’s, pain med specialist, CNAs, and were very attentive to everything. Even the food was decent for a hospital. They were kind to my wife and the experience was very positive
Dr. Ordered up pain Medication because I’m not aloud to take my own. It never came and I suffered for a very long time!
