Our office hours are 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 to 4:00 PM.We are a historic house museum - the oldest home in Shelby County. We offer docent-led tours and walking tours to visitors and school groups. In addition to our historic grounds, we have a 6,000 square foot converted barn and reception hallcalled Hillwood. Venue is very pretty. Customer service is horrible. They have refused to give us a refund of our deposit for a wedding we could not have due to corona virus restrictions. We decided that having a wedding during the middle of a pandemic would not be safe for our friends or family, so we decided to cancel our event and elope. We gave the venue plenty of notice and they refunded most of our money but refused to give back the deposit.
