We were honestly relieved when we could leave after three nights. This place is basically a private house where rooms are rented out, and it really feels like that. Our room was quite small and outdated – the TV was probably the most modern thing in it. The shower barely had any water pressure, the sink drain smelled unpleasant, and the windows didn't seem properly sealed. It was cozy home and beautiful location, can see downtown Hilo ! And night time , Koki frogs sound amazing and heeding. Beautiful sunrise can see from the windows.
Room has no soundproof. You can’t sleep. Too many animals around the house and noisy. When you come to Hilo you visit all day and at night you wanna have a rest but at this place is impossible. The owner has to invest in the sleeping quality of guests. Mattress is bad as well. Cheap one. And too many rules. Everywhere is a sign you to not do something. Happy that we stayed just two nights. I need to sleep. and is too expensive.
