This is my GoTo place to stay in Hilo. Beautiful old Kama'aina home, with the current generation turning it into rental rooms. Super convenient location at the top of the hill - less than a mile walk or drive to historic downtown Hilo, the Lyman Museum, Tsunami Museum, Sig Zane, farmer's market, etc. Quiet, beautiful views of Hilo Bay and the lush surrounding hillside and garden in back.
