I used to live at this property-it was the nicest apartment that I lived at. I would have stayed if I didn't have to move for work.
Horrible! I'm currently a renter here patiently waiting for my lease to be up but I'm not sure that I can. We've been here over 4 years and just recently it's become mice infested! We reported it and their answer: glue traps and mouse bait. Doesn't work at all! It's not safe to live in fear of seeing mice. Also, our oven door needed to be replaced so they put on a door that was too big and Everytime I use the oven heat comes out. We needed to have our tub repainted and it took them nearly 2 years! The Verano was an amazing place to live! It was my first apartment after moving out of my parents' house, and it is the home my husband and I came back to after we got married. The only thing that was not the best was the smoking. We lived in Building 1, which is is completely no smoking..but nearly every time we walked down the stair outside to get to the first floor, the entire stairway was clouded with smoke. 1. The first drawback is that the actual complex was built in a swamp and there are bugs crawling every place outside and they make it inside your appartment and on you when you are walking to and from your car, specifically at night. I could look out at night at the lights in the parking lot and it looked like it was raining really bad but it was actually the bugs. Absolutely horrible customer service. The entire team including Stevie, liz and Brandon create an ever-present hostile environment where the customer is always wrong. - before moving out last month, I paid $100 to professionally clean my apartment in fear of getting my deposit deducted but no surprises when I was told that $75 were deducted from my deposit refund for "general cleaning". This is a sub par apartment with dark living conditions, bugs, rats, flooding, and poorly run. I would not recommend.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This place is a racket they will nickel and dime you until you have nothing left, don't expect your deposit back, don't expect courtesy, don't expect outside cleanliness, peace and quiet or anything positive from staff or the dwelling. I really don’t know where to begin. First, let me start with the positive things. I really love our apartment layout. The faux wood floor are beautiful and mimic real wood very well. The closet space is enormous and the rooms are a nice size. I have a 3bdrm 2bth apartment and have lived here 2 months. Now the negative things, the apartments are old. The appliances are old.
