I attended a couple of Birding classes there and it was a very nice experience. I also, enjoyed the beautiful grounds and just walking through them I was able to take a few pictures. The buildings and grounds are all well maintained. I found the whole environment to be very nice. I hope to attend one of the plant sales in the future.

wonderful setting and plenty to see. wish we would have gone on a day when more of the facility was open. the building construction was different and interesting with much eco-friendly ideas on display. awesome job LSU!

It’s not really a stretch for my wife to answer when I ask, “guess where I went this afternoon?” You stopped at the arboretum, what did you buy? We have purchased hundreds of plants there. Natives and introduced...interesting, unusual, and some one of a kind. So many fantastic plants. Hilltop is a real gem on Highland Road.
Have never been to the Arboretum, but ordered their "Pocket Guide To Louisiana Native Trees" and it is a great guide! It's as good as the Audubon Society Field Guide, a third of the cost, and isn't jumbled up with trees that grow on the other side of the country. Thank you!
