Dr. Yu is an amazing acupuncturist, who cares deeply for his patients. My experience there was so much better than other places I’ve been to and he makes sure to educate you on prevention and break it down for you step-by-step. It also helps that he’s really handsome. Great guy, would 100% recommend.
David was incredibly helpful to manage an injury and help me to recover quickly, along with managing the issues that created the initial problem. He was very attentive, went into detail about the treatments, and I have not had the same issue since the treatment.
I came across the recommendation to try acupuncture as an alternative method of treatment for reoccurring throat infections. I was consistently getting severe tonsillitis without explanation for months. ENTs were not able to help and after after several rounds of antibiotics, the next recommended step was to get a tonsillectomy. Acupuncture with David Yu helped relieve the pain in my hips and legs from what turned out to be a torn meniscus. Before acupuncture I had trouble sleeping at night because of the pain. After the first treatment the pain was significantly lessened and my leg felt much lighter! I continued with acupuncture as I went to physical therapy to strengthen the muscles, which David encouraged. Dr. David Yu is a knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional doctor. He actively listens to my symptoms and then treats me accordingly. He monitors my progress and reassess the treatment each week. He is gentle with the needles and I appreciate when he explains the "whys" in the placement of the needles.
