Absolutely wonderful staff, and Dr. Montagna is awesome! I was apprehensive because my teeth were a mess and I was scared of the reception I’d get when I finally got insurance and was able to see a dentist. They quickly put my mind at ease and everyone I met at the office was welcoming, friendly, and not judgmental at all. I can’t thank Hillsville Family Dental enough; I went from dreading the process to looking forward to working with them to get my teeth healthy again!
The staff behind the desk are very rude. Not open as long as they use to be. Closed Fridays? What dentist office doesn’t call you when THEY rescheduled your appointment without you knowing? THEY DID NOT CALL FOR A REMINDER! No letter was sent in the mail. UNTILL I received a bill for a broken appointment. They do not accept adult Medicaid or half the time no new patients! The cleanings are not as thorough as they use to be! This office has went down hill and is filled with rudeness as you walk through the door! Horrible serv... read more
I do not recommend this place if you’re a new patient. I waited six months for this appointment. I woke up this morning. I’m sick. I don’t know if I have Covid or the flu and I called to reschedule and they said if you don’t come, we’re not going to treat you ever. So now I have to drive 40 minutes to see a dentist so much for small town kindness.

Absolutely the worst! The dental assistant would not cooperate with us when we said our child would throw up with fluoride but she kept it up until I had to remove him from the chair. I made an appointment for both my children to be seen back to back and my son had my phone to keep him occupied while my daughter was being seen. He has walking to sit down and the assistant grabbed him to move him out of her way and knocked the phone out of his hands and broke the screen and the dental office refused to pay and were very rude.... read more
