I was seen by Dr. Hillsman in Hoboken, NJ. I was assigned to her for an "independent medical evaluation" for insurance purposes, and she was not interested in my pain or current condition. She spent 5 minutes with me, then submitted a statement to the insurance company that I shouldn't be approved for more physical therapy. I had recently had diagnostic imaging that clearly showed my issues (that she supposedly "read"), and my own orthopedist and my physical therapist were shocked that she recommended discontinuing therapy. ... read more
