I am extremely disappointed with my experience involving Hillside Retreat Detox and their handling of my partner’s discharge process. From the beginning, the agreed-upon plan was for discharge and return home around the 9th or 10th. Despite my partner communicating clearly and repeatedly with staff—and receiving approval from the director to leave—this plan was not honored. Hillside truly changed my life and gave me a second chance. The staff, doctors, counselors, and educational support are unmatched. I would wholeheartedly trust any of my loved ones in their care. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to recover with such an amazing team. When I arrived, I was very sick—and in just a couple of weeks, I felt and looked better than I have in a long time. Hillside Detox Center changed my life. I spent 34 days here before moving to my next chapter. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this recovery center to anyone looking for a healthier sober lifestyle. Mel and Kyle are wonderful people and will always have a piece of my heart. I’m so very grateful for the care my husband received at Hillside. Absolutely amazing. Staff here really cares. Kyle and Melody have an understanding and insight that’s rare to find in treatment and I’m forever grateful. It made all the difference. Food is outstanding as well lol
