I was here in Emerson the staff were all new threw me out of an elevator and let ppl jump me I was 16 then now I'm 18 they ruined my spirit made me very depressed and suicidal they said very cruel and mentally exhausting things to me they didn't care how they talked me they treated another patient like crap causing her to hurt her self

I was here in 2023-2034 i was around 13-14 i hated this place so much I feel like i left with more trauma then i came in with. I never had self harmed or had suicidal tendencies until i went here. I’m 15 now and a little better, this place ruined me though the staff in my unit (Alcott) didn’t care a bit about our feelings or triggers. I don’t recommend this place never send your kids here.

Jeez, it's been years since I was there. The staff was patient with me when I would lose it and runawa6 but they also helped me realize that I was given up for adoption. At least these places still exist for reasons .
