Hillsboro Vac And Sew went above and beyond to repair my industrial Juki sewing machine over night for me. They were so understanding that this machine is how I make my livelihood and did everything they could to get it back to me by the next day. This included having a part machined for me so I didn't have to wait while a part was ordered in. This is not the first time they have bailed me out and kept me working. Top notch service!!! Hillsboro Vac & Sew is the Best! The staff at Hillsboro Vac & Sew are terrific! I took in four vintage Viking sewing machines. Two of the machines had been declared unrepairable by by another Viking dealer. Ron, Glenn and Mike had all four machines completely repaired/restored in just two weeks. Outstanding work and excellent customer service. I recommend Hillsboro Van & Sew unconditionally!
I give this store an F in communication and customer service. I went here for a replacement drive belt for my vacuum. Without asking what brand or model, they sold me a similar-looking belt. I assumed they knew what they were doing so I tried it. When it didn't fit I returned it for another one. The second one didn't fit either. Finally I asked if they wanted to know the make and model. I bought a used sewing machine from them and they gave me a one year warranty on it even tho it is used. I also bought a used vacuum and it also came with a one year warranty. When I had to bring the vacuum in due to a loose hose (kept coming off while vacuuming) they fixed it right away. They have always been helpful and professional. I highly recommend!
Professional & Economical I needed some filters for my vacuum and another store quoted me about $90 for two small filters and the labor to install them. I could not afford that, so I thought I'd check around with other stores. The folks at Hillsboro Vac & Sew showed me how to cut my own filter and install it myself. Great Service – We need a bag for our commercial vacuum, and I as not able to find one anywhere. Our employee suggested I call Hillsboro Vac & Sew. They had exactly what I was looking for and we picked an extra bag. They have a large inventory, and when I called verified they had the bag I needed prior to me making the trip over to their store. friendly and helpful, saved us a bundle! – We took our vacuum to "another store" for a tune up because they had advertised it for $49.99. With vacuum in hand, I asked what was included, I was told the $49.99 was only for the labor...with parts it was going to be $125! So we just had the other folks change our belt (which was broken) and I later went to Hillsboro Vac and Sew to buy the filters that I was told I needed. The Best Service Around! I've been taking my sewing machines to Hillsboro Vac 'n' Sew for several years now and they always take excellent care of me and my machines. They have technicians on staff 7 days a week - a BIG plus over the competition. I started with one Pfaff and told them I needed another and as soon as a used one came in, I got what I needed for a fair price.
