I’ve lived here for some time and there is a lot to appreciate. The building is visually beautiful, the amenities are attractive, and the staff are generally kind and hardworking. There is a clear emphasis on creating a luxury living experience, and many residents will likely enjoy the convenience and offerings. 2026 Review- Updated This building functions best as a residential Holiday Inn. Passive-aggressive management, inconsistent standards, and a definition of “community” that seems to shift depending on WHO is asking. Real New Yorkers are far more considerate than this. Ah, where do I start? my first interaction was with the porter Ozzie, well mannered fella with a Knicks hat (Go Knicks). Then there was the RM Dennis who was very charismatic, funny and informational. The concierge were no slack as well (Josh, Ralph and Danny). building was vary clean and welcoming with props to Ozzie lol. But in all seriousness the building was great and I'd highly recommend living there but I'm too broke.
I just met Dennis and he is by far the most welcoming resident manager I have ever come across. He made our experience at Hillrose28 so lovely - whether walking us through the impressive spaces throughout the building, explaining the unique features of each apartment or highlighting the vibrant community. And shoutout to Ozzie and Raphael who greeted us and made us feel at home!
