This place is an utter failure of help. They say they are here to help you with therepy and help with life structure but they don't. There are bairly and groups and when there are it's just coloring. You get to see a therepist once a week but I've yet to see one. The only thing you can do all day is isolate in your room and sleep all day! It feels like a low class retirement home where they have no activities they also keep you there for 6 months if not years!
This review is in regards to my mother being a resident at this facility since ~2020. 5-17-2022 - I live in Canada so communicating with my mom is difficult. I purchased a tablet for her hoping we could do face calls. But then found out this facility didn’t have wifi. 2022 and NO WIFI! This place is a joke. They're supposed to help with mental health I'm here right now and I feel like my mental health is just getting worse. I would never recommend this place.
I'm filing lawsuit against Hillcrest Residential Care for objectifying, embarrassing, humiliating me and pushing me around. Staff were questionable, substandard and hateful toward me and certain other people. Gretchen Lehr, Chris Davison, Dana White and Michaela Danielle Thompson were objectifying, condemning and totally embarrassing to half those living at the residential care facility. Very incompetent therapist and no communication led to my child not being able to return home as their behavior got worse. It was extremely obvious that they didn't know anything about RAD and made things worse for my child instead of better. I will always regret sending my child there.
