Hillcrest Psychology and Dr. Jean Dennis offer excellent assessment and treatment services. Dr. Dennis is knowledgeable, very experienced, and highly ethical. I highly recommend her services.
We had a great experience with Dr. Dennis's office during a psych-ed assessment for my 8-year-old son. Everyone was friendly and professional, and my son even found the testing with Taylor pretty fun. Dr. Dennis took the time to listen to us and provided a detailed and helpful final report. The negative reviews of this practice are not true reflections of the work, but instead are the limitations of all regulated professionals with an ethical practice.
Our son felt very comfortable with Dr. Dennis at the beginning of his journey. Over time she continued offering great guidance but as a parent I noticed the gradual increase in fees. Fast forward a few years where our son is in a much better mental state. He now needs her help filling out a mental disability form for his first year at university and she refuses to do it saying that she hasn’t interacted with him in a while.
