I visited Hill Park Recreation Centre to utilize the women’s/girls only swim. Front desk and staff were helpful and friendly, facilities appeared clean, and parking was free. Unfortunately, I will not be revisiting. The children and their parents were not respectful of the division for lanes and recreation and the lifeguards did a poor job upholding this. I was not able to complete a lap without running into a child. This made any kind of enjoyment impossible.

This recreation centre is located close to our neighbourhood and it's also where two of my children attend school. We used to love going here for swims and badminton but the front desk staff are a nightmare to deal with. There is one mean stout looking woman who works the front desk (my last visit was the evening of Wed June 11, 2025) who is consistently RUDE, HOSTILE and PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE in the way she treats ANYONE who comes into HER space.
