Our first visit with Hill Country Pet Ranch was very nice, so when we needed to have another stay, I decided to use their online registration form, since they had our previous stay information. I made a reservation in August for our October stay, and the day before we left,as we were dropping off, I was surprised to learn that the reservation that I had planned on (private room) had never been made, and they were full with no availability. My dogs were there for 10 days. Picked them up and brought them home only to find out they came home with kennel cough. Both dogs had the Bordetella vaccine before going into the kennel, but still picked up the bacteria. Our Vet was surprised to find out this place never even contacted us to let us know they were having a problem. Also, we don’t feel like our dogs received the care they should’ve, especially after being charged 1,000! Your dogs shouldn’t act afraid or nervous after coming home!! I was super excited about this place at first, I was having a hard time finding a place near San Antonio because I own a Bull Terrier who is not neutered and is on a raw diet but upon check in every since ounce of my excited deminished. I brought my year old Bull Terrier here to stay for five days (5/17/18-5/22/18) and I was completely unimpressed with our experience.
