This is one of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever been, and we were hosted by two of the most incredible people we’ve ever met!!!! We loved it all so much we got married there, under a 500 year old oak tree!!!! Hill Country Nature Retreat living is top shelf living!!!!! We are forever grateful for the memorable and loving experience and for Marlena and Eugene for their welcoming hearts. Enjoy your stay and the memories you will always have.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday out here and it was absolutely heaven on earth! We saw an amazing sunset atop the Tree House deck and enjoyed birthday celebrations in the outdoor kitchen. The owners have put beauty and care into every corner here. This is the place to go for restoration and connection with nature and your community.

We had our wedding here two weeks ago and I swear this venue was by far the best vendor decision we made for our day. Guests were talking about it all weekend and asking where we found such a place. I was immediately drawn to this place when I looked at the website and about 5 minutes in to our tour, my husband and I were sold! I recently hosted a retreat for mothers at HCNR, and we could not have been happier with the beautiful, and thoughtfully curated space created by Marlena and Eugene. Just WOW. They've thought of everything to create a comfortable and nurturing space in harmony with and in homage to the beautiful hill country, and their hospitality is unparalleled. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue with kind, wonderful owners you found it! My husband and I were planning on getting married here in March of this year, but one week before the scheduled date my father had an unexpected stroke. Marlena worked with us to find a new date and I will always be so grateful for her flexibility and kindness in such a stressful time.
