Review Kruse doesn't want you to read Reviews get deleted, but I don't mind posting again. Kevin Kruse and his staff charged me for minimal invasion spay, performed regular spay and claimed the dog was pregnant, when in fact it was not. When confronted Kruse tried to lie his way out by making contradictory statements. He claimed that the fetuses he supposedly extracted from my 6 month old pug were 30 days old. great place I have been taking my 3 dogs to Hill Country for 3 yrs. They saw me when no one eles would and was very honest about the possible out come for our dog. They didn't try to get me to leave my dog there an charge me more. The staff is wonderful. Dr Kruse is very good. Always helpful and kind to my animals. They have never tried to push anything on me. I have recommend them and the people I have sent are very happy with them also. The facility is clean and safe.
Uncaring Doctor Staff was ok, the doctor had a very unbecoming bedside manner. Didn't feel valued as a client, and felt my concerns were not taken seriously.I just felt like by walking into his buisness I was inconviencing him. Does this guy even LIKE animals? Price was ok, but I have heard from friends that the other hospitals in town are actually cheaper. Will be looking for a new vet with a better attitude, at a better price.
I Wont Go Anywhere Else! The staff was very friendly and they treated my 7 month old pitbull like she was their own! Doctor is very helpful, teaching me over the counter remedies that will help my dog & not brake my bank! The spay cost was very reasonable & about half the cost of other vet offices. The incision was/ is very clean! I will always trust them with our pets!
Used to be great, not so much anymore Up until the last few visits, I have always enjoyed visiting Hill Country Animal Hospital. It just seems like lately things have gone downhill. After several calls, they were unable to refill my pets' routine heartworm medication, and I had to go elsewhere to purchase it as I did not want my dogs to miss doses. A couple of days on back order I can understand, but I has first called for a refill at the beginning of the year and as of a few days ago, they still did not have it in stock. Al... read more

WORST PLACE EVER This vet office and it's staff are completely unethical and dishonest. They are only after your money and will try to force you into unnecessary procedures to get it! They would not authorize a prescription for my dogs heartworm medication when I tried to order it online and save a little money in these tough times. Barring any medical reason for safety, it is in the American Veterinary Medical Associations' code of ethics that Vets CANNOT and SHOULD NOT deny prescriptions for pet owners who wish to buy thei... read more
Nice and clean Vet. We recently went on vacation and had to kennel our dog. It is very hot here in Texas, and thier dog runs are tempeture controlled. That made it nice knowing our dog was comfy at his stay. The stay was very generous. Usually our dog hates to be in the kennel, not this time he loved the staff and didnt want to come home he had so much fun.
