Caring and compassionate staff
This place is very clean and well staffed. The nurses do the starting of IVs instead of having a phlebotomist.
I was scheduled for a routine colonoscopy (my first) at Hill Country Ambulatory Surgery Center in March and received excellent care from my GI doctor (Mansour), OR nurse (Ashley), pre op nurse (Heather) and technician (Eddie). These individuals really helped make this experience bearable and they all contributed to my ease throughout that morning. This place was OK the day of my procedure. They made a major clerical order that resulted in my bill being sent to an address in El Paso rather than to me in Austin. Despite having the correct email address and phone number on file, they never contacted me regarding payment. They instead sent the account to a debt collection agency. The same day I received notification from the debt collector, I called HCAC to find out what was going on. This entire team made our experience 5 star! From the moment we walked in and my husband checked in for his procedure to discharge they were fantastic! A big thank you to Dr Kiker for your awesome bedside manner and taking such good care and making us feel 100% confident in you. Cherie his pre admissions nurse, Ember his OR nurse, Tech Andy, Alice in pre op, Roger in Anesthesia a Julia his recovery nurse- thank you all for your care!!!
