I highly recommend Hilights Salon in the Mill Mall. I've been going there for a couple of years. Alyssa always listens to what I want and knows the best way to deal with my cowlicks, fine hair, and any other problems I encounter. She remembers our conversations and sincerely cares about things going on in my life. The salon exudes a friendly and professional atmosphere.

I am going to preface this with, I am pretty sure I would have pulled a 2007 Britney Spears if I had not gone to Hilights. I got a perm yesterday and long story short, the girl didn't do a lot properly and it fried my hair. My hair is CRISPY. After 24 hours, washing my hair like I was told, putting products in etc. I felt absolutely defeated. To be clear, the person that messed up my hair is NOT at Hilights Salon. My wife took our daughters here for a girls’ day after our oldest got her hair done for prom—and it came out lovely. So, she brought our other two girls along. When I got there, I had to walk out. The woman behind the counter had a rude look and zero welcoming personality. I was just waiting around while my oldest finished her driver’s test, so I walked the mall for a bit.
