*Edit*** I have stayed twice in addition to said stay because I worked in cimarron but none the less I am NOT living in Raton although I do frequently visit but just as you don’t feel the need to explain yourself neither do I as to my reasons for staying in cimarron regardless of my address. I feel I would have rather you just had charged me for whatever “extra cleaning” was needed and communicated with me about it to resolve any issue and hard feelings with either party. I stayed there multiple times and have not once left a room or any other room in a do not rent condition I work for a Motel myself and I called to rent a room and was told I left the room a mess??? I know for a fact I gathered all the trash and put it in a grocery bag including coffee cups and wrappers I know that I put any bathroom trash in the trashcan and I know for a fact that I gathered all towels and I even stripped the bed for them and I put all dirty linen and towels in the bathtub AND I left a note about the mirror ... read more

We were traveling to Red River and stopped here for the night. Service was excellent and the rooms were very clean at a reasonable rate. Before you leave town in the morning be sure to get at coffee at their coffee shop, Hiker’s Coffee.
